Which raises the subject of Fulmer ... That hire definitely taints his legacy at Tennessee. I always liked him, even with the way things fell apart from 2005 to 2008. I have very mixed feelings about him now. He could not have made a worse hire.I hope our UT family has learned a valuable lesson from all of this. NEVER HIRE A GUMP!
Not really not the hire, but his failure to monitor what was going on in his own athletic department. Or did he not want to know? Total incompetence either way.Which raises the subject of Fulmer ... He was never qualified to be AD but he campaigned for it since the day he was fired as coach. Finally got it & totally fu@ked it up.
Avoided a $13 million buyout to Pruitt only to give the NCAA $8 million. I’ll take it.
NCAA knows how exciting the Vols are to watch, they weren’t about to rob themselves of those postseason ratings. We back baby !!!
Crazy that Pruitt only got 6 years and Donnie Tyndall got 10 years. Of course it really sucks that we had 2 coaches in our 2 premier programs end up this way. Tyndall's issues mostly pre-dated UT but it's still an embarrassment
