Just bought some decongestant for my 16 year old and of course needed to show my license to drive and sign the book. What a stupid waste of time. The law was put in place so authorities could detect if someone was making bulk purchases to cook crack. So, who is doing the trend analysis when the book I signed was started on Feb 23, 2010? Almost 2 years and this particular pharmacy hasn't had to turn in any data, and won't until the book is filled, so why exactly are we collecting this info?

Stupid waste of resources.

Yep, now the meth is imported. Yay! Let's make cartels more powerful and influential here in tennessee.

Not to go into all the details, but meth use is pretty much a result of safer drugs being illegal and harder to obtain than meth at a higher price.

And how many taxpayer dollars have been wasted enforcing drug laws?

Fact is, people who want to do drugs are going to do drugs. Fighting drugs is a fruitless venture.

Not sure if y'all realize this but meth labs are toxic waste sites each costing $100s of thousands to clean up. In addition the manufacturing is done usually with chIldren in close proximity. Sometimes they go boom

I understand the pollution and the clean up issues. I just simply don't think that a meth lab is any better for the people of mexico than it is for the people in tennessee. And since I don't consider some groups of people as more important than others (not counting friends and families), then I don't see any improvement by moving the labs away.
