It's worth a watch but I was underwhelmed since it had a great subject and Johnny Depp. Kinda dragged towards the end.

It's aight. The History Channel show 'Crime Wave: 18 Months of Mayhem' is better, imo.

Meh, I thought it was pretty bad. Too long and mostly boring. The digital camera and cinematography were wrong for the movie as well. Seriously, the HD was a mistake. The lighting was great though. The scene that really killed it for though was.......

******SPOILERS************

Toward the end of the movie when Dillinger walked into the FBI office and just walked around. Every single one of his moves for the entire film was calculated and safe so he wouldn't draw any attention to himself. I understand that it's supposed to be poignant because it is right before they kill him but he didn't know that was going to happen. It just needlessly goes against his character. It was bad enough before that, but this put me over the edge.

Yeah, him walking around the Chicago branch of the FBI asking the score is total fabrication...but most was historically accurate.

I expected a whole lot more from this film as well.

Michael effin Mann, Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, the lovely Marion Cottliard, and the underrated as always Giovanni Ribsi...

Kinda like the Yankees, looks good on paper, but...
