Planning on going to one this weekend. I know of two in southern Tennessee, Taft and Lyons. Anyone have advice on which one is the best to go to?

What does one do at a pumpkin farm?

Taft? Those bastages still owe me money and don't even get me started on Lyons.

Unspeakable things.

Apparently you guys want to keep me in the dark and make me Google it.

I've never actually been to one. At least not to the fields where they're grown.

Punkin chunkin looks fun though.

They have like hayrides, animals, you can pick out a pumpkin, and other country ****. Just something to burn a Saturday morning on..... Good if you have kids.

So the two you listed are the best? I'm guessing I can google them.

We're gonna be in Gatlinburg/PF next weekend. Thinking about taking the kids to this one (ages 10, 6, 4). It's about an hour away. Worth the drive?

I think so yes. I have taken my daughter there many times and she always loves the place. Call ahead if we have a lot of rain that week as sometimes they shut down the hayrides in messy conditions.

Not sure if they offer it, but if you see a Zombie paint ball around Halloween, and you have young kids it's a blast

Here they set up in a big field, and have "Zombie Stations" (structures, pallets, little buildings) set up in the filed.

Then there's trailer with paint ball guns mounted to the side rails, and as you drive around the field the truck stops, and "Zombies" come out toward the trailer, and the kids get to "light them up" with the paint balls.

It's really pretty fun, but can add it if, your kid goes thru all his/her paint balls in the first one or two stations
