Pretty apparent that Purdue is merely a good team. They certainly aren't elite.

maybe that is one way to look at it, but I just see a much, much improved Duke team. They don't have to live by the 3 to win this year, they are rebounding better and the D is so much better. Not just Nolan Smith, but just about everywhere. It's old school Duke. This team will not get out-hustled all year long.

I know Hat disagrees, but I think with injuries and the man on the sidelines for UNC, things might not be as easy for them as so many think.

OU shot about 40 more free throws than Purdue and still had to have overtime to win. I think that game says a lot about the Sooners, as well.

OU way overrated at 6. Going over Sunday to see them in Tulsa.

It was nice to see some toughness from the guys tonight. I'll take the win, though I do believe if we had gotten to the line as we usually do, it would have been a 25+ beatdown.

I hope that D shows up against UNC, and the rest of the year for that matter.

I also think Hat is dead on. Purdue is a good team, but not elite. Duke played sloppy on offense almost all night, and still put it on.

Duke still has some softness issues, especially at center, but are much better with Nolan triggering play on each end.

I agree, but I still feel they are playing with much more toughness than last year. Especially Kyle.

I also like Nolan getting the nod at the point, I think we had a discussion about that last year. He just does things Greg can't.

What do you think about LT's improvement? he looks leaps and bounds better than last year.

My wife is crying right now, That was just awful.

I'm sure my boss is as well. :)

Oh my goodness, did that not look great tonight! Rebounding on both sides of the ball made me feel like I was watching a whole different team.

What a great game!

Duke looked good tonight, I think they are a solid top ten team but will not go anywhere until they find a true post player.

I think Zoubek and Thomas will fill the role of a big man nicely with Miles Plumlee simply getting better and better each game. By the end of the season, I think Plumlee will be really good. I can't wait to see what his brother will bring next year.
