Purple Traveler is a Washington Huskies fan that inadvertently wandered into our forum thinking he was in a Texas Longhorn forum, as they are playing each other in their bowl game. He took his lumps for his wayward error and took it like a champ. As a result of his errant foray into our forums, he is now part of VolNation lore. The thread he started is in here somewhere…maybe Around the NCAA.

Edit: He was an excellent sport about the whole deal as the VN faithful had a field day with him.

Eh, maybe he did cruise in here under the pretense of a classic mistake and is trolling a little bit. Who knows? Who cares? Doesn’t really matter, does it? People are just having a little fun with it and talking some college football. Life’s too short.

By definition most to all Husky fans are dumb or worse. Of course this opinion is coming from the husband of a WSU Cougar so I may have been influenced a bit over the years.

I used to like Blues Traveler back in the day. Never heard of Purple Traveler.
