Putin a hero?

100% fabricated.

He continues to slowly edge Russia back to Communism...

Bush on Putin 2001.

I doubt many terrorist explosions go on in Tehran without the consent of Iranian officials. And as far as I can see Tehran and Moscow seem rather chummy. Perhaps I am wrong about the first sentence, I don't know for sure.

As I've said before, the man is just trying to remain relevant. For decades the USSR was the main focus of the western attention. After the fall, Russia has slipped into a second rate state. Between the bombers along the UK and US coasts, helping Iran with nuclear material, rattling his sabre at the UN, etc. he's just trying to make sure not only his own ego is fed but that the world still remembers the great Russian bear.

I'm just waiting for the release of the bare chested picture with a heavy machine gun of him "taking on the assassins". He loves his topless photos. Anything for a sound bite and photo op.

Yeah but I'm sure that was during the whole 9/11 ordeal, when Putin went crazy for the war on terrorism.

It was before that, June 2001 I believe. Putin probably had knowledge of the soon to be 09/11.

I am surprised you guys aren't calling for the plot to succeed so Russia can take of Iran for us.

He's going about it wrong... maybe he should consider using the vast resources of his country to make it productive and more wealthy.

He's doing that. Investment is going in. But there is a difference between that and the nation itself remaining relevant in global politics.
