QB Scroggins not cleared to play

Man, Willis and now Scroggins. Just imagine if both of them had come here. One wouldn't be cleared and the other would have just left. It really was best to not get these guys. Apparently Scroggins can still be cleared. But still.

Wow, that is a tough blow for a football team on the verge of losing 10 scholarships a year to take. Has the effect of losing 2 more if they don't qualify. Henderson decommiting makes three. Malik Jackson makes 4.

Now, I'm for sure not sympathizing with them and for sure not with LK, just would hate to be a USC fan, staring all of that in the face 2-3 years down the road. Much prefer our position of (hopefully) having the worst behind us to theirs of waiting around a year or two for it.

We're lucky that we weren't able to sign Scroggins after all. Coaches signing questionable guys with regard to academics seems like an acceptable risk in small doses and at other positions, but seems like too big a risk to take with a QB.

Somebody implied a day or two ago that we're some sort of exception for not being able to get all of our guys in. I said then that this kind of thing happens all over - saw a similar story about a Bama or Florida guy a day or two ago. Happens all over.

It is Karma,,, first the sanctions which were not announced and could have gone either way,,, Now players are falling by the wayside,,, wait until the program slips out of control,,,,, Kiffen has the Big Orange Curse upon him and his family for years now......

Karma goes both ways and his has gone south and will stay there for a long time. His Aura tells it all !!

I was happy when I saw this news. Then I saw Hunter was being held out by the clearinghouse and it ruined my moment. :mad:
