Has anyone noticed how many QB's will be leaving between now and the end of next season? Only Florida and Auburn have QB's that are Sophomore's or younger. Ole Miss's Bo Wallace had some good playing time as well, but this year there are 5 QB's leaving and 7 next year. I think CBJ came in at a good time to see if we can make a move in the SEC. Thoughts?

SEC QB's who left after 2012 season:
Tyler Bray-UT
Tyler Wilson-Ark
Morgan Newton-UK
Randall Mackey- Ole Miss
Jordan Rodgers- Vandy

QB's who will leave after 2013:
AJ McCArron-Bama
Aaron Murray-UGA
Zach Mettenberger-LSU
Tyler Russell-Miss. St
James Franklin-Mizzou
Connor Shaw- USCe
Johnny Football-Texas A&M

EDIT: Johnny Football was a RS Freshman this year, but is eligible to enter the draft next year and will be long gone imo.

Samjam, if you read the OP, the thread was intended to point out how at least 11 of the SEC schools will be replacing QBs after next season or this season. And I thought maybe it would give UT a chance to maybe make a move in the SEC..

USC essentially will have 2 QBs next season, and they may both be rated as top 10 in the SEC by ESPN, Rivals, Steele, etc. Thompson will be a Jr. in '13, and have the first chance to vie for the starter's role in '14 after Shaw leaves. USC will also have 2 other quality QBs in the wings in RS-Fr. Nosovitch and True Fr. Mitch to compete with Thompson in '14....if either of those step up they could pass him....
