Couldn't find a thread dedicated to this prospect, so thought I'd start one in the hopes of learning a little about him. Says on ESPN that, as of July 24, he expects to take an official visit to Tennessee. Anyone know anything about him?

If there is a thread about him and I overlooked it, forgive me.

Has the Under Armour All-American Game replaced the Army All American game in prestige? Or is it just another ploy by ESPN to monopolize sports? I was wondering how the 17th best offensive guard in the nation made the roster. Being rated that high is fantastic, but it seems to me if he is the 17 rated prospect at his position, there should be 16 others with the chance to play n the game before him.

Not that ratings and High School All American games mean that much, but Josh Nunes and Jarvis Giles are current commits on the roster.
Montrell Conner, Marlon Brown, Stephon Gilmore, Quentin Washington, Peter White, Darren Myles, and Frankie Telfort are all rumored to have some sort of interest in the Vols. Leaving any out?

The rating system is strictly an opinion of a player. The people that put together the game might have a different one.

The reason I ask is because ESPN uses Scouts rating system, and they promote the Under Armour All Americans, so I just assume that Under Armour used Scouts rating system as well, but I could be way off.

Just looked at the front page of the Under Armour All American game, and it states they also invite "under the radar prospects we feel will explode onto the national scene."

I don't think Scout.com and Scout, Inc are the same. I'm not aware of Luginbill being involved at all with Scout.com. The evaluations aren't the same and in a few cases aren't consistent.

I think Rivals is based out of Brentwood, TN. Could be wrong but without looking it up, I thought I remember hearing that somewhere.

There's some guy who used to go by the name TruthTeller on The Tennessean website who said that. He was a douche bag who would never say who he cheered for.
