Question about how many EE we can take

If we have some underclassmen transfer after this semester is complete, does it free up more than 14 EE spots we can take?

Not sure But I did hear the reason we could only have 14 EE's was because of the 85 limit.

Butch is the one that put out the 14 number. If someone is leaving after the semester he might already know and it would be included in his 14 number. No way to know who the 14 spots are at this point.

Some are seniors graduating and won't be here in January.

Some could be NFL early entries that are leaving.

Some could be transfers or players asked to move on.

just no way to know.

if someone leaves that CBJ is unaware they are planning to leave, then yes the number increases

On a kind of related topic, I still don't see how we can get 35 in our signing class. I get the 30...5 from last year, but not sure on the 35? Do we gray shirt 5? Thanks for any info.

Love him, or hate him (and I hate him!), over the past five years, Coach Saban has become the Master of this very trick. The art of 'decommitting' a select few of your future commits.

As well as, the difficult taks of informing a few of your current team members of limited future playing time...and therefore, they might wish to look around elsewhere.

The numbers will work out. I predict we end up signing the best 32-33. It is going to be an OUTSTANDING class! :thumbsup:
