If you want to go through the school, call the Volunteer Athletic Scholarship Fund. This will require a substantial donation, in addition to the price of the tickets. In the alternative, as the season draws near, look in the classified ads. There are always a number for sale.

Earlier this week I saw the first presale for season tickets on ebay. $1,400 "Buy it Now" price for a pair in the endzone no closer than 10th row, but no other specifics on row or seat number. That was before the price hike announcement so I would expect them to be bumped up at least $100 a pair now. I dont mind paying that much if I can get at to at least the 20 yard line and 10+ rows up. I guess all you can do is keep looking and be prepared to move fast if you see decent seats at a price you can live with. BTW, this will be my first year to go for season tix if I go through with it.

You can get some seats without a substantial donation. I think the donation is $500 for upper deck renewable tickets but I think you can get non-renewable for less than that according to what the VASF told me this week. The minimum donation for lower level is $1000 and that is pretty much in the enzones/corners.

That makes the 1,400 per pair seem a lot better. Unless I see a sweeteheart deal I will probably wait until after we have our sign-ups for who wants the office tickets. Last year I could only get use for the UGA game but I am hoping that after last season the interest level will be down a little. Plus, there are two people who used them last year for at least one game who are now pregnant. If I can get Bama and UF and maybe one additional game through the office I probably will skip the season tix.
