Question about SEC East/West combining

I know fans and media have talked about it, particularly in basketball because the West has been so weak recently. Is there any indication that this could happen? Like SEC officials or other coaches pushing for it or anything? I like the ideal in football because the league is far more balanced but in basketball its an obvious joke. I wouldn't imagine football plays a role in a decision like this does it?

I don't see why they couldn't keep them in football and not in basketball. Women's basktball doesn't have divisions.

I didn't even think about womens basketball not having it. I thought it might be a weird conference rule thing or something. I'd really love to see this happen

The W. division coaches don't want to combine the divisions. The Conference tourney is the best shot they have had in recent years of getting a team into the big dance.. East West seeding helps them
