I was listening to BP after the Kentucky game and he sounded fairly upset about the start of the 2nd half (obviously) and he said his starting rotation out of the locker room would change. Stated some guys lacked urgency and had to work their way into the second half.

Who was this? I missed the Arkansas game and was wondering who he was alluding to.

Thanks in advance guys.

Scotty Hopson did not start the second half of the Arky game. I think Bone was in his place. I don't know how this relates to the UK game, but it seems we have a couple players who could use a bit of bench time to motivate them.

Thanks, that is what I was wondering. BP seemed pissed after the Arky game that some players came out of the locker room flat. He wouldn't name names, but said they would be sitting to start the second half in the SEC tourney. Interesting it was Hopson.

Snotty better quit looking for a pro contract and start playing some inspired bball ALL the time. Instead of when he wants too. Or he'll be learning the art of dribbling overseas.

Tatum is the one that should be benched. It has gotten to the point, I had rather see McThree on the court. As least I don't expect that much of him.

So Tatum started the second half and Hopson did not? Interesting. Shows BP is more willing to play a player who is in a horrific slump than someone with poor body language, lack of intensity, and high upside.

I won't lie, I get sick and tired of Hopson's p!ss poor body language and how he pouts on the court. But at this point, he is what he is, and he is our best player. He needs to be out there. Hopefully another game starting the second half on the bench will piss him off.

Maybe he wanted to give Tatum chances to play his way out of the slump in a game where we're ahead by double digits.

Scotty's attitude and body language has changed quite a bit over the course of the year. He basically carried us throughout half of the SEC season. I too wish he would bring it every game but lets not get carried away over this one game (he might not have scored alot in the Kent game but his attitude was still good). Its a FAR cry from where he was last year and early this year when his moping around was an every game occurence. He'll pick it up tonight, if not then we can all hate on him.

I dont understand this. What does Scotty do so drastically different in regards to his body language and attitude than say, Brian Williams or Steven Pearl? We have a team full of emotional players, whats the problem? He plays as hard as anybody. Stop expecting him to be this perfect image of who you want him to be, he is who he is, and we are lucky to have him.
