If it was a touchback and the whistle was blown...how is it a reviewable play? If the ref said D.Mo didn't touch it, isn't the ball and play dead once it hits the endzone and whistle blown???

i think if they blew the whistle than there is no way that they can reverse it. but i was in the student section 19 rows up on the goal line and i was so nervous when they reviewed it because i was 100% sure that it hit his leg and i thought they had an easy one. after the call though i gave off a big sigh of relief

I think we got away with one, because I think it hit his finger. But if the ref said it didn't, it should be dead once it hits the endzone

Yeah this is exactly what I was saying the whole time. It's like when someone fumbles and the officals say he's down. There is no way you can review that call.

But CBS had a big thing about it at half time.

Even if Morley played patty cake with the ball and they saw it on film there was no possible way this play is over turned.

What would you over turn it too?

Throw the ball where it was make sure everyone was in place and blow a whistle and have a mad dash for the ball.

These TV stations need to know the da jim rules before they start saying oh whats the definition of "infuetiable evidence".

I didn't even see this live I was taking a piss.

That's the thing . . . They reviewed a play after they blew the whistle with the ball laying there. It made no sense.

And after that Spencer Tillman at halftime had this big bitch fit about how that was called wrong in the review booth and it cost LSU points.

CBS is a bunch of idiots. Verne or Gary the goober didn't even pick up on it.

I was screaming to my GF that it didnt matter because the whistle blew and she was like you're wrong because they would have said something by now. Way to back me up CBS. I knew I was right the whole time.

It pisses me off that they can review that play like that, but review the Russell fumble. Things need to chance in the reviewing next year

I mean seriously do you think the refs are goin to come back out and say:

"After review he did touch the ball, but we blew the whistlle therefore there isn't a friggin' thing we can do about it. First and 10 Tennessee"
