How come Tony stopped doing watch parties for games? I don't recall him doing any during the football season last year and I dont think he's done any basketball watch parties this season either. Has he addressed why he stopped doing them?

Yeah I heard him say that, which is actually what prompted me to ask the question. He used to do several every year. I was just curious why it stopped up to now.

The issue is he does a post game call in show which is usually really good and last for several hours. If he's at his studio, it helps facilitate the long hours better than having to leave a business and cut the program short.
If you haven't listened to the post game shows, you're missing out.

Oh his post game shows are awesome! I consider listening to his post game shows as a ubiquitous part of the Vol gameday experience!

I would guess that it’s up to the Copper Cellar to decide. They were paying for Friday remotes at Calhoun’s before each football game so they might not have had it budgeted for basketball games until later in the season. Plus they are spending on the Vol Calls remotes right now - also at the Neyland Drive Calhoun’s.

Maybe after it warms up they’ll plan for more business on the patios at their restaurants.
