Are there any bars that will be showing the opener in the area? In town visiting the wife's family but want to watch out amongst fellow fans

Mods feel free to move into different thread

Hard to be in Knox and someone not have the game on.... Walk down the strip and you'll have a loot of options.

The Upper Deck is not really good and honestly the alumni events I have gone to were not a lot of fun.. You probably don't want to go there. Check out Wild wing cafe at Brier Creek or Tobacco Road either on Glenwood avenue or drive to the one in Durham which is at the Durham Bulls ballpark. It is very nice. I watched one of our pay per view games there last year.

Will they be showing the Austin peay game at all these locations? I've been to the one in Durham but didn't think they would pick this game up. Thanks

I watched the Georgia State game last year at Tobacco Road so I would think they would show this years game. I usually just call the day of the game and talk to a bartender or manager and they will tell if they are showing it or not. If you're in Durham, Satisfactions is a possibility and Devines also. It's not obvious at all that I go out way too much.

Hey man I live in Raleigh. Yardhouse in North Hills might be carrying it. That's who is hosting the Alumni event a day or two before. I'm sure you could ask them. There is also a Buffalo Wild Wings in Knightdale just east of Raleigh. If I wasnt heading home to actually go to the game I'd offer to team up and make some place flip to it haha. Honestly though it might be worth calling Yard House.

The only things that will limit whether or not it's on in the Raleigh area is when the local teams play, and some of the other national teams that have a huge fanbase in Raleigh are playing. Basically, as long as NCSU/UNC/WF/ECU and Ohio State/South Carolina aren't on, you should be able to get anywhere to switch to it.

Call Tribeca Tavern in Raleigh or Cary. They have tv's at each table as well as many big screens. They do carry packages so may have availability. Also call - tha ALE House - they have dozens of TV's.They may switch a smaller tv to the game around a few tables.
