Is the SEC not only having its best year ever, but is it the greatest year for a conference all time?
I did not realize it, but after I looked it up, South Carolina is 3-0 vs. the ACC with wins over Virginia Tech, Boston College and Clemson.
I'm not talking about star power. I know what the rosters of early 80s ACC teams looked like. But, it's not like the Big East or the Big 10 were garbage in comparison. The other leagues literally are trash in comparison this season. Purdue has a win over Alabama and Ole Miss. Duke has a win over Auburn. Oregon beat Texas A&M. Memphis beat Missouri and Ole Miss. There's not much else unless you want to start talking about wins over the bottom half of the league. And then again, the bottom half of the league has wins too against those other power conference teams.
South Carolina beat Clemson. Oklahoma beat Arizona, Louisville, Michigan. Georgia beat St. John's. Arkansas beat Michigan.
When a winless team in conference is undefeated against another power league, that's crazy
