Question for you re: coaching clinics

During his press conference, Coach Jones mentioned doing coaching clinics to get Tennessee high school coaches on campus to show them what UT has to offer. I had never heard of that. Is that something that is typical?

Also a comment...I have to say I was impressed when he gave credit to his players at Cincinnati for being responsible for his new job. However he worded it, that was the gist of it.

I love it...this guy has never coached a real football game and is already talking about putting on clinics. It is going to be fun watching the other SEC coaches give Jones a coaching clinic next season.

UT has coaching clinics every year. Normally, a few guests (Other coaches) come in and give a few plays or ideas as well the Tennessee staff. It is an easy way to communicate with coaches from the local area.

Really? I asked a legitimate question that had to do with recruiting and you come out with this response?

Try to be a little less transparent. You don't look so hot wearing see-through.

He's mad our coaching list didn't go:

Gruden
Cowher
Sumlin
Petrino


I thought they always had coaching clinics. I imagine HS coaches would much rather learn from Butch than Dooley.
