Question from observation today

When watching the UGA/Ole Miss game, I notice GA had 2# 2 jerseys and 2# 1 jerseys. In would not think that would be allowed. Why would they do that and has UT ever done that?
hate to start a thread about a silly question but it is bugging the crap out of me.
Thoughts?

It's allowed as long as they aren't on the field at the same time.

What was odd to me was the random Ole Miss player wearing a red jersey when the rest of the team was in blue.

Lol, I noticed that too! Very odd, I know it was the signal caller. It may help him stand out more easily.
