Looking at 'Bama's field during the LSU game made me think, has it ever been considered to put in houndstooth endzones on that field? I always thought that be would kind of a neat way to add some character to the stadium and continue to pay homage to Coach Bryant.

Why would you care about Alabama?

I don't "care" about Alabama. However unlike some, I don't take this rivalry to the point of immature stupidity. I have family, friends, and coworkers who are Bama fans and of course in good fun we rib each other all the time but it doesn't go any further than that. It was just an observation I made while watching the game Saturday and was curious if it was ever considered, that's all.

They did the big, black and white checkerboard if I'm not mistaken in the 1960's. Small checkerboards, houndstooth, would look good. It's an idea.
