Question - which UT BB team is the worst?

Imo it is a toss-up because I don't think either one gets past the 2nd round in the NCAA tourament. Both will enter the tourney as a low seed and get drilled by a higher seeded team in round 2. This will in all likelyhood be the first Pat Summit team to not get to the sweet 16.

In the long haul I think Bruce's team is in better shape and will rebound nicely after this season. AF the Lady Vols, I don't have such high expectations over the next 3 years. The reason for this gloomy forecast is that I believe this year's freshmen class will turn out to basically be a bust over their careers at UT. They haven't demonstrated anything to make me believe that they will suddenly "see the light" and begin playing like Lady Vol teams of the past. Hope I'm proven wrong.

I sure hope all those freshman girls get it together, the Lady Vols have a perfect opportunity to win back to back championships 2 & 3 years from now. Dang, they sure look bad right now though.

There are pieces on this Lady Vols team, but they're young, and injured. Cait is out of bball for good. Baugh is hurt, Stricklen is hurt, I think (didn't see much of the game tonight)...

The roster is like F, So, So, F,F,F,F,F,Sen, So....super young. They aren't playing Lady Vol basketball because there is no one to look at and learn from, save Fuller. Every one is still buying into the program step by step rather than imitating successful, older players.

Both teams are going through growing pains. Both coaches are way to good not to get it turned around.

The Lady Vols are rebuilding, seeing as they lost who could be the best female basketball player ever. I'd say the Men's team because they had really high expectations this season.

Agreed.

The Lady Vols just look young and inexperienced. They miss a lot of shots and do some boneheaded things, but they still look like there is effort being displayed.

Our men's team is just inconsistent, spotty, and downright frustrating when it comes to defense, rebounding, and efficient passing. Even though I know most of the guys are out there busting it, it just comes across like it's more a lack of effort and desire with them, because they are talented.

Men's team is the biggest disappointment. Our men's team was suppose to be good this year and we aren't worth a plug nickle. It's so sickening to watch them play. They got blowed out on the road this week by TWO average teams. Sorry, but Ole Miss and Kentucky are average.
