Question: Who is the better quarterback between Bryce Young and Stetson Bennett?

Frankly, I think it is Bryce. Well, we beat him. Maybe that says something about tomorrow. I understand that it isn't always about the QB, but in this case, I think that Hook is better than both. Please chime in.

This is a large part of the basis in my belief that we may spank them. I think we legit blow bama out if you take Bryce young out of that game. He made incredible plays. He’s a Heisman trophy winner. He showed it.

Stetson Bennett is def a scrappy underdog—but I think if he was the QB of that Bama game we win by about 4 scores. Seriously,

I think we beat Georgia tomorrow 49-31.

Hooker could be a great QB. His numbers make it seem like he could be. Time will tell, but HH could be a NFL starter in a year or two.

BY has a lot of talent for a college QB, but not sure how it will translate to the NFL. He could end up being a backup.

I don't think SB has any football left after college, but I could be wrong about him.

I see where you're going with this OP so I'll play devil's advocate. What if Bennett fits his team's scheme just as well as Hooker fits our scheme. Bennett has to be a Trent Dilfer for Georgia; manage the game and don't turnover the ball.

Im sorry, I love Hooker and I think he has the brains and skills to be in the NFL but as far as raw physical talent, Bryce Young is amazing. With a lesser QB, we would beaten Alabama much earlier and ended up with at LEAST a 14 point margin. He simply CARRIED that team.

Stetson is a good and serviceable QB but not anywhere near Bryce's talent IMO. If GA wins tomorrow, it will be because their defense finds a way to slow us down, not because Stetson is a wunderkind.

I don't doubt that HH plays in the NFL in the future. Do you think BY has NFL starter talent? From what little I have watched, I think its questionable. Maybe I haven't watched enough....

Well I will agree, teams play, not just one person. "BUT" (and I like big buts) QB is probably the most important position. In one of these post, someone said that if BY had been GA's QB, the Elephants would not have had the run they had against GA.

All I know is that I hope I can get through the game without having a heart attack.

I think Stetson is underrated but he’s not going to take a team on his back and carry them. Georgia has to get more from their defense than Bama did or this won’t be close.

Bryce Young is an absolute man. He really impressed me against us, and it was his poise, composure, and escapability that allowed the Tide to claw back in the game. If we jump on UGA like we did ‘Bama, I don’t see any way Stetson could lead the Dawgs back in the same way.

In terms of just being a college QB I think Bennett gets a bad rap. They say he doesn’t really have pro potential because of his arm but I don’t really care about pro ball - I prefer college. He’s smart and knows how to win. He doesn’t have the talent of Bryce Young but he bleeds Red and Black and will fight like the third monkey trying to get on the Ark.
I hope we can confuse him some, sack him and hurry him tomorrow - but I will always respect him for walking on to try to earn a spot on the team he loves. We’ve had a few Vols over the years like him. A certain linebacker who intercepted Mike Shula to preserve our win over Bama comes to mind.

BY is definitely better both on paper and on the field. I think we’ve already had the dog fight game with Bama. Uga is stout but I think we beat them by two scores tomorrow. Could be wrong but that’s the gut feeling. Uga certainly has other weapons but I think we have them covered
