It has been talked about how pathetic the officiating was in this game, but why did the officials never T up Dixon? He went on the floor many times while the play was still live and barked at the refs yet the most they ever did was give him a sideline warning. If this was Pearl his first two years, he would've gotten T'd up and possibly even tossed with this blatant one-sided officiation. However, he never acted like an ass like Jamie did, and he had every more right to do so then Jamie.

I remember in the first half when Golden went and got hammered inside... and Bilas said there is a lot of contact right now. The other guy said something along the lines of the officials letting them play. Only one problem.... TN was already in the bonus if I'm not mistaken at the time he said that (10-11 minutes left in half).

It was an awfully officiated game. Our guys got hammered, poked in the eye, thrown to the floor and they would call a jump ball or "let them play". They would call gentle hand checks on us but not the Big East boys. That is until the end when Pitt needed to foul, then they started calling hand checks on them so they could stop the clock. I could be looking thru orange colored glasses, but the contrast was unmistakable. Even the broadcasters had a hard time trying not to be too obvious in pointing it out. Where was this crew from?

Officiating has been awful all year.. That being said, we are much more physical than many other teams.
