Questioning CDD's recruiting?

Accoring to tigerrag, covering LSU's recruiting, here's who Dooley helped recruit from 2000-2003:

2000- Chad Lavalais, Stephen Peterman and Corey Webster (future All-Americans in what was considered to be a makeshift class)
2001- Joseph Addai, Bennie Brazell, Michael Clayton, Travis Daniels, Marquise Hill, Rudy Niswanger, Marcus Spears, Andrew Whitworth, Ben Wilkerson (considered the foundation of the '03 NC team)
2002- Skyler Green and Kyle Williams (All-Americans)
2003- Matt Flynn, JaMarcus Russell, Dwayne Bowe, Craig Davis, and LaRon Landry (speaks for itself)

Big names at LA Tech?
Not with LSU, Ole Miss, Bama, Auburn, and the state of Texas... And Arkansas grabs up the average rest.

That's just from the 4 years he was with LSU.
Just throwing it out there; I think it's valuable information.

If anything, his tenure at Tech could have caused him to become a much better recruiter. As he said in the PC, you have to be a lot more prepared from an evaluation standpoint because you can't go out and get the best players in the country at a place like LATech. Now that he is at a school with the top recruiting budget, hopefully he can use his evaluation skills to continue to select the right players, instead of only the most highly acclaimed ones.

With apologies to Jerry Tarkanian, if Dooley had been pulling in five-star recruits to Ruston, the NCAA wouldn't have even bothered for the plane to land. They would have descended on that campus in parachutes.

People who question his ability need to look at one thing. Saban the recruiting master mind hired DD as his recruiting coordinator.

Plus hes a lawyer.

What else do you need?

The only thing this post proves is Saban is a great recruiter. How many recruiter of the year award has Dooley won? none

You guys really need to stop drinking the Dooley aide. Nothing in this guys resume says winner or even average.

I've been to Ruston, LA before...the town is comparable to Loudon, TN.

Latech's recruiting budget is peanuts beside LSU's and TN.
They have to recruit close to home where LSU and TN go where they need to. Latech's facility's are nothing compared to SEC schools. To pad the smaller school's budget they have to play big name school's for the money so their record don't always reflect how good they really are. When you play a couple of top ten school's with no depth they hurt some of your better players. etc. etc.

Look at LA techs recruiting classes prior to CDD arrival 1 or 2 3 star recruits each year after his arrival 8 or 9 3 star recruits each year, which is pretty impressive for a school like LA Tech, I think the guy can recruit but we will see, just remember we cant judge nothing on this year
