Here are few questions regarding next year's football team...

1. Give your best go at a starting lineup for the team using current commitments with next year's expected returners?

2. Which player's on the current roster will be the one's that will step up next season the most?

3. Which players have we not seen on this year's roster that we will see next year?

4. Which current Commitment will make the biggest impact next season?

And don't forget about Ferguson.

Yes. Let's not forget Ferguson. Who has done what so far? People wanted Peterman and look what happened. people wanted Dobbs and 16 passing yards and 2 Ints, at home with vandy, before last drive. Don't want to argue, but let's not forget about Ferguson, till he proves himself. He is an unkown at this time, a variable in the equation, but still a ghost.

Well, if Ferguson isn't better, it will be another long year.

I hope to see an offensive line a little more comfortable with this scheme. The line that ran Chaney's 90% pass block offense will be mostly gone.

I respectfully disagree. People here on VN talk about "Coaching" up and improving the players potential, well, Dobbs and Worley may improve through self determination, training, practice, And coaching. I agree though, right now our SEC QB situation is bleak.

Screw it, let's go Ainge and Shaeffer, Worley passes and Dobbs runs it.

Sanders doesn't start next year. I saw him a few weeks ago and he still has a long way to go in the strength program. He's a great kid but he won't see significant playing time till his redshirt Jr year.

I can see your points on most of this. But Sutton had been our best corner all year. I could see a four way race at the other spot with Jones, Coleman, Foreman, and maybe a recruit but I think Sutton has earned a spot barring unforseen circumstances.

You are spot on, If there is one player on this defense who has a garanteed starting position it is Sutton. He is the best cornerback we have had in a long time.
