I know he is red-shirted but does he travel with the team? Is he on the sidelines at home games?

Thx

I don't think redshirts travel due to NCAA restrictions.

Why not ask a Bama fan? Oh that's right, they're a little fuzzy on NCAA restrictions :biggrin2:

You can. We brought Arian Foster to South Carolina last year as an emergency RB. As long as they dont play, they can red shirt.

Is/can he be on the sidelines. Have never seen a picture of him to know what he looks like.

Yes. JC should be near 100% after 9-12 months.

You can never really tell until the guy starts throwing the football again... sometimes they come back better... not to compare arms to knees, but Brodie Croyle's knees are stronger now after the surgery than they were before.

according to SEC rules on in conference away games a team can only bring 65 or 70 players. Crompton in on the sidelines at home games but I don't think he can attend away games

While you'd like for him to travel along with the team, That 1 extra man we could use on the travel roster of 70.

I think we dress almost everyone for home games or atleast they are there. JC, should be in his #8 and sweats, he at the UAB was still in the sling.

Due to the numbers crunch he can't travel. They can only take 70 on the road to conference games and just a few more to non conference games. Jon couldn't help even if they needed him to this year, so he and all the other "injured" players will have to stay home. The injured are not allowed to dress out for home games either. They can be on the sidelines but NCAA restricts the amount of players dressed out so if they choose to stand on the sidelines they have to be in street clothes. I'm trying to get a picture in my sig and then the person wanting to know what he looks like can see him! If anyone can help with this task it would be greatly appreciated!
