I saw a lot of people mention that if Clausen played the whole game at Florida that we would have won.

Do you still think that? Just curious.

I don't think playing Clausen would have mattered. He just isn't a threat. He can't run, he can't go deep and sometimes he can't even complete the ones that he is supposed to.....but he's smart.

And he was supposed to be able to not turn the ball over. That was a bad throw into the endzone that got picked. Of course, the pass to Smith on the play before should have been a TD.

Yeah, the WR's are as much to blame concerning the not making what he is supposed to part.

Hard to tell...he prolly could have nickled and dimes the UF D like he did LSU. Still, I think the play calling has hendered the O more than anything else.

I think if we had one QB and no rotation crap we would have won at Florida .

freak, our offense is inept. we dont run the right system for the athletes we have.

i am not sure if peyton could help us this season.

just seems as if we do not gameplan very well at all.

I don't think we can win with anybody on offense... LSU was sheer luck.

Clausen, bless his heart, is a fantastic leader but just doesn't have the tools to cut it in the SEC. We tried to fool ourselves but deep down inside, everybody knew this all along. And Ainge is suffering some sort of mental breakdown and has an offense that for whatever reason refuses to rally around him.

Neither QB can win because we are in complete dissaray on offense.

I know everyone is saying play ainge for nex year. I think Ainge gets beat out next year by Crompton. I think Ainge lost the faith of the coaching staff and the players.

Ainge had his chances this year and didnt play very well, where Crompton has a clean slate, and Crompton is as highly a recruited QB as we have ever signed. I think Ainge is playing behind Crompton the rest of his career, barring injury.

I'm sorry to say this, but I think a lot of fans have been sucked into the "Ainge is the man" fantasy just as PF was. Even after having seen him self-destruct more than once, we just don't want to believe that he couldn't/can't get it done.

Furthermore, I still think RC could get it done to a tolerable extent, even with limited ability. The whole team had a deer in the headlights look during that first half at LSU, and it wasn't anywhere near as bad with RC. I'm truly sorry that so many people are ready to write him back off b/c of a few bad passes when the problem is multi-faceted. He's miles better than Ainge right now, and unless we're ready to blow off the rest of the season in the hope that Ainge will get some therapy and shape up in time for next year, RC is all we have.

Sorry, I'm off-topic. Yes, Rick could have beaten UF. Wait, correction: Hell, yes, Rick could have beaten UF.
