1) I was kinda young for the Delmoinco years but Helton and the rest got me over there. Serrano years got me in for real so to speak and that has a direct correlation to VN for me.
2) Iām not as familiar with Delmonicoās ending but I know it was contentious based on his accomplishments. Raleigh, I think most were glad to see him go and he didnāt endear himself on the way out the door. Serrano years, I flew the flag. By all accounts, he was a nice guy and he did a lot of good in the community. That goodwill probably gave him a year more than the results deserved. The Serrano years were really for me, the introduction to following summer ball and ya have to rememberā¦college baseball, in general, got a lot less coverage and ya had to really try. It was the perfect storm for me. I was a stay at home dad. I was a noob on here. There were not many folks into college baseball and the Vols werenāt all that good.
3) I canāt give ya high and low points, like a specific win or series of losses, itās baseball. Vitello and his crew are a completely different animal. Itās one thing to come here and say we should invest in baseball, thatās easy. Itās something else on the field, heās done that fantastically.

Nothing comes to mind. Everybody is gunning for us in baseball. I know that. I think it's too early to tell who our biggest rivals will be in the long run, but it won't be in-state. Who do you think? I think Duke and UNC being in the same state is mostly accidental to why their rivalry is so big.
