The most bizarre UT game I can remember, but I'm man enough to admit this team is better than I thought. A BCS appearnace is within reach. If that happens, fry my crow, I hate baked bird.

You will have to share it with me.

But its a totally different looking offense with Cutcliffe as coordinator. I have a bad feeling, others are noticing that as well and will come calling at some point.

Still have to take it one game at a time. The conference is too weird right now. As soon as you start to think the LSU game is winnable Arkansas comes out looking like a world beater. I'm glad for the bye week. Sears and others need to heal-up for the next 4-game stretch.

I hear ya, after what McFadden did today Arkansas scares the crap out of me.

Now we have to hope that the vanquished Dawgs can whip the Gators at the cocktail party along with the whipped Auburn Tigers/War Eagles...

arkansas is a scary team, i will admit this myself, however I did say they had a decent chance to back into the west title. i think we will be okay against them only because of the inexperience of mustain, the kid will have to throw against us, and if the secondary can step up like it did tonight, he wont be able to get away with some of the things he has to this point.

Mark Richt isn't a happy man tonight, that's for sure. Look for UGA to put it together here in the next couple of weeks.

The pass protection has been unbelievable this year. I think Cut has made a bigger difference than anyone could have anticipated.

I didnt see this type of success coming, but if we dont take care of business at Bama, LSU, and Carolina then it all means nothing, so much football left to play

While I agree there is a lot of football left to play, at least this football team is watchable. Last year, not only did UT lose, they were absolutely no fun at all to watch. The entertainment value this season has renewed my joy in the Vols.

Good point, there have already been so many great plays. It's been a lot of fun to watch thus far.

I am not too worried about Arkansas. Another game where we should give Mustain time in the pocket, focus our front 7 on the run, let our DBs focus on coverage. Mustain might, given a lot of time, burn us for one or two TDs. However, if we can hang 51 on UGA, we can outscore Arkansas.

Arkansas has a long history as being giant killers- they've always given the Vols hell. Lumpkin had pretty good success on our defense(more than I'd have liked to seen). We'll have to really work on stopping the run to be ready for McFadden.

Money talks. But, I think Cut will actually be happy chilling where he is. Health, family, ditching UT twice, etc. I'm not so sure we're in a position to lose him again. Who knows?

Glass is officially more then half full for most folks. Vols will be fine in coming weeks. We may not win them all but we for sure will give it our best shot in each and every game!!

I agree with you. I think his love for Tennessee and Knoxville keep him here.
