Being reported that Bennett's mom is sick and he wont make it in. Also, Despite reports to the contrary, Rivals says that Tennessee has not accepted Crump's commitment.

I would very much like Both Neal & Bennett.

I just remember how well things went when we had Travis Henry, Travis Stephens , Jamal Lewis and Shawn Bryson in the backfield basically all around the same time.

So essentially, Crump is a Last resort?

I think Crump = Robert Nelson.

Nelson only got officially offered last year because we had room and missed on a few other guys.

Damien Robinson also not making it in due to weather. He told rivals that it wont hurt our chances.

I think there is a good chance Bennett becomes a LB if he comes here. He may be one of the guys in front of Crump on the board.

Good comparison. I really like robert nelson. He sounds like a hard worker that is genuinely happy to be in knoxville. Could use a few more of those.

Very glad to have Neal onboard, but his continual use of the first person plural pronoun "We" in the article on Rivals makes me concerned that this guy could be a prima donna. I certainly hope not.

Hearing on WR Markeith Ambles is that North Carolina has taken the lead over USC. I don't think Ambles is taking any visits this weekend or before Signing Day and after a good in-home with Butch Davis the Heels are in the driver's seat.

.I have a friend who is a scout in the NFL and I just got off the phone with him asking him my usual questions somehow related to the VOLS. He said we haven't realized how good a coach we have in Baggett. He mentioned if the High school receivers truly understand what he's accomplished then they would be stupid not to come. Said he would take him over Kippy Brown anyday. Also said Chaney is a great QB developer more than we realize and Kiffin took the credit with Crompton but they being the scouts know who made the difference. HE also said Chuck Smith has broken the code to rushing the QB. He mentioned if he would have had healthy knees then he would have been one of the best to play. Also, said he attended a meeting a few weeks ago with other major scouts and the joke was Kiffin and how he is able to get to where he is going without a resume. Also said he has met Dooley on more than one occasion and realizes he is a very very smart guy. And out of the blue he mentioned Neal going with the VOLS....says he is close to someone close to this situation and Neal may be the best back in the country.

I think we really upgraded on our WR coach. Baggett is a big time coach, along with Chuck Smith. I will be glad when Chuck is "offically" on board.

Notre Dame got quarterback Luke Massa to switch his commitment from Cincinnati over the weekend, which makes me wonder if Aaron Hendrix is still solid to the Irish. When Hendrix visited Florida, I thought he was going to be a part of Florida’s class but after talking to Brian Kelly, he re-affirmed to Notre Dame. I don’t think Florida would take Hendrix at this late juncture since they got a commitment from Tyler Murphy last weekend, but I would not be surprised to see Hendrix make some calls to see what his options are. Massa makes three quarterbacks in the Notre Dame class, which by my count is one too many.

I wonder if he calls us?
