Here is a list of names that are not talked about as often as others but IMO we have a chance of landing on or before NSD.

This is a question of your opinion on the chances of these players becoming VOLS? These players have not been as discussed as much as some of the higher profile players and I would like info on where they stand with UT please.
I have searched elsewhere and havent been able to find much.

Matthew Wells ****
Damien Robinson ****
Jeff Whitaker ****
Torrian Wilson **** (decommit Stanford)
Victor Hampton ****
Arie Kouandjio ****
Marq Dixon ***
Pat Swilling **
T. Cornelius

Soft Verbals Elsewhere

Nickell Robey ****
Kelcy Quarles ****

Victor Hampton is a good corner. You guess do like to get your fair share of head cases.

We are not in Whitaker's top 5... I read somewhere that he might be interested if we were to put the pressure on... I don't understand that though...I thought he was high on our board?

A. Kouandijo has us in his final 7...he has a visit set up for Jan. 29th.....

and can you please add T. Cornelius to that list... there was an article on AJC? about CEO had a visit with him early dec. and he supposedly is going to take an OV this month... he is very underrated....

Nice thread...we could very easily round out our class with a few of these guys...

what about a. dixon

A. Dixon has a very detailed thread already available in this section.

Just trying to get answers on prospects that do not have as much publicity. You can get A. Dixon answers on his thread. Thanx

I had heard that about Hampton but had not about Wells and Whitaker. Any knowledge of the circumstances?

Thanx for the info.

In an article on Scout about 2 weeks ago, Wells said he hasn't had contact with UTs staff in a while. We aren't in Whitaker's top 5 and he always liked us. It sounds like we aren't doing much there...

Didnt get to see it how did he do?

here's a summary from Newberg
CB Nickell Robey
5-8/165, Frostproof

Robey had an MVP-like performance with four huge plays. He had two first-half interceptions, including one in the end zone. He also had a tackle for a loss on a fourth-and-1 from the 1 and caused and recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter. While he may be on the smaller side for a defensive back, Robey showed why he's a high-caliber cornerback. Robey has all the cover skills you look for and has terrific instincts for the position. For those who say he can't play the run, he showed that he can on Tuesday night. Robey is not afraid to mix it up and play physical when needed. Robey has committed to Georgia.
