Since ive been watching some of the practice videos, hancock has caught my eye. number 87 is lookin like a stud as a frosh. anyone heard anything about where he stand in terms of how deep he is in the wr rotation?

Trooper said he liked Hancock's speed and future, but right now he said Hancock needs to get in the weight room and get stronger.

I lived in Jacksonville last year as he was being recruited. My understanding was that almost everyone wanted him as a safety, but the vols promised him that he could play O. One coach said he would play on Sundays as a safety.

He's probably 6th on the depth chart right now and could be redshirted possibly. Meachem, Swain, Smith, Briscoe, and Taylor are all ahead of him at the moment. He's kindda small and needs to bulk up a bit so I think red shirting him this year, would be a great idea because then he would be able to compete for the 4th WR spot next year.
