I admit that Knight had a bad side but he also had a good side.
My Aunt and Uncle lived in Danville Indiana when Knight was coaching Indiana and one evening they were driving in the country on a lightly used county road when they had car problems (car overheated). They pulled over and my Uncle got out and opened the hood. While he was looking under the hood he heard a car pull up behind theirs. My Uncle looked to see who it was and saw Bobby Knight was getting out of his car. He asked my Uncle if he needed some help and my Uncle replied that the car overheated and he was just waiting for it to cool down. Knight talked to my Uncle until it cooled down. My Uncle then got in the car to leave when Knight told him to wait a second. Knight went to his own car and came back to my Uncle and gave him a couple tickets to a basketball game.
