He's probably going to incorporate himself into the final novel just so he can kill himself off

GRRM ain't in the greatest of health these days. Have some friends in Sante Fe and they see him around quite often. Just sayin

Is it bad when your reaction to the thread title was "NOOOOOOOOOOOO" and then when you open it up, it's "oh whew, someone else died"?

I too thought GRRM, but RIP other George Martin. But it would be a GRRM thing to do, to die before fulfiling his destiny like many of his characters.

I had to Google GRRM to see what you guys were talking about.

Had never heard of him but will check it out.
Any recommendations on where to start?
