The man had his struggles but he was Mr. Excitement for sure.

I talked to him for a while in a bar several years ago. He seemed genuinely shocked that I wanted to talk Raider and not the Crimson Tide. Friendly fella.

Saw him at Flora-Bama a long, long time ago. Come to find out he lived across the street on Ono island. Jimmy Buffett lives there too. RIP Snake! Hell of a QB
