I just saw this on ESPN.

I even said a prayer that he be forgiven for any sins and is in a better place.

The price of fearing God. Empathy for rivals.

Just to make it clear, I'm being serious. Trying to make light of the situation because death is always sad. I really did say a prayer and I really do hope he is in a better place.

Hate to see him go but he had been in terrible health since his strokes and his battle with diabetes. Rest in peace warrior prince.

Before I became a Vol I grew up rooting for folks like Penny Hardaway, David Vaughn, Elliot Perry, Lorenzen Wright, etc. RIP and thanks, coach.

RIP to a man who challenged and changed a divided Memphis community. You will be missed.

Not a great coach in any sense of the word, but was a fantastic player.

He was kinda like Fulmer. Bled blue and grey. Was great for the community. Was a great human being. a pretty good coach. Very sad to see him go. But glad he isn't suffering as he had the past decade.
