Raheem Morris?

There is nothing in his record that qualifies him for a major coaching college job. His only work as a head coach was a dismal failure. Next.

At this point I'd take him. What else is there to lose?

Hire Ed Orgeron?

You must have lost your mind. Ed Orgeron tried to take all of our recruits when he slipped into the night, hated us when he was coaching.

And we hate the sorry loser

Morris' secondary in Washington looks awful this year. Are y'all basing this on you like his name or something?

Tell me again how many great college coaches bombed in the NFL?????

That doesn't mean that every NFL reject is going to be a success in college. That's dangerous logic.

I would have liked him as a position coach or even as DC, but I have no interest in him as the head coach.

Can't (or don't know how to) post links on this tablet, but a Google search of Raheem Morris yields adjectives like "outgoing", "vibrant", "fun", "easygoing", and "carefree". Off the field.

Yeah, he's apparently pretty intense during practices and games, but isn't that what we need?

Players don't sign his paycheck.

No, but you see the results on the field when the players lose their faith in, or desire to play for, their coach (i.e. Dooley and the Kentucky game last year and Dooley and the Vanderbilt game this year.)

Saban isn't a players coach. Just saying.

I just don't think he's a viable option. We could do worse for sure. But where would this program be if he had quick success and jumped right back to the NFL?

Friend of mine is a freelance photographer in Tampa. He's been around Morris quite a bit. He's not impressed. But he is friends with me and I'm a prick, so who knows.....
