:salute:....to Pig Howard. I am proud of that young man's effort in the ENTIRE ballgame.... even his final play. As we all like to wallow in self pity tonight, remember it was his play that cost the game. I am sure that NO ONE feels worse than does he this evening. But I stand up and loudly proclaim that I am proud of him tonight.

This one's for you Pig... and the rest of the Big Orange.

I was glad to see the coaching staff get him involved. He was invisible the last couple of games until this one.

Guys, it sucks we lost. But we competed and made plays all night long. This gives me extreme hope for our future. I'm hurting right now - but I'm proud of the team!

GO VOLS. We need to raise a glass to Worley too - he played a good game.

Exactly. I felt real down about this team last week. This loss is deflating but it was encouraging to see the offense make plays and compete. I loved it. Felt like the old days.

I think recruits figured out what direction we are headed. Up

He played solid. tough break at the end. this one stings .......... VFL

Losing because a player was going all out for the score is better than because your coach is so clueless he left 13 guys on the field.

Still stings like a SOB though.

6 rushes for 46 yds and 4 receptions for 70 yds

he was trying to get it done and I can't fault him for that. Night and day from last week and I hope he can keep his chin up and continue. We need him

Here's to Pig! Helluva game and great effort. Truth is not even Pig knows the exact millisecond that the ball left his hand. You gave your all for UT today and that is all we can ask!

How long until the Foster moaners label Pig?

I thought he had a great game. Fumbles happen in football. I'm proud of the whole team in their effort today against a ranked SEC team.

I raise my glass to the entire team. :toast:

ps: I'm not a moral victory guy, but I liked what I saw on the field for 60+ minutes. It is progress.

Pig gave his all for UT and no one hates worse than he does. If there's anyone besides Neal that I want running the sweep play it would be Pig.

During the replay my wife kept trying to assure me it was a TD. I wanted to believe her or at least hope that the video of his hand and the ball was too blurry to be indisputable.

I know you lost but wow it was so close. Some Ducks were pulling for you guys. You had Georgia sweating big time. That was one proud effort today.

I started my first thread ever tonight. I am proud of every athlete and how they aged for our unvisersity. Not ever team has our passion and history. We are Tennessee. We are college football. This is a Tennessee team I wanted to see from butch. This is what I expect

Hard to blame a guy for something like that....that's just a really bad break. Things like that happen, just sucks it seems like it always happens to UT
