I by no means was insinuating any ill will on vandy.... it's just bad luck because this guy could have been a star for them.... that's all... settle down...:glare:

JayGunna's right. It is a crazy world when a kid gets killed and we say, "hard luck for Vandy". This is such a sad story because he obviously was living in a tough situation and was so close to getting out and bettering himself with a great education.

This is just terrible. This young man had such a wonderful opportunity and life in front of him to be able to play SEC football and study at a fantastic school in Vandy.

I pray for him and his family and friends....RIP Rajaan.

My son goes to school with Bennett's HS coach. They had absolutely nothing but great stuff to say about him. May God be with him and his family.

What you said was the equivalent of hearing about the passing of a Vol recruit and one of us saying, wow that sucks, what are we going to do at x position next year now. Football is just a game, and should be a complete afterthought when life and death are considered. I'm sure Rajaan's family is more in need of our prayers than the Vandy football program.
