"Rumors" are going around that Mr Smith could be announcing his intention to sign with Tennessee tommorrow. Chris Low said on the show that he and Brent Hubbs does together, that he thinks Ramar Smith is a Vol. I think Brent feels the same way, but is being cautious and saying nothing will be for sure until he signs the papers. With Smith and his strange recruitment, I think that while Brent Hubbs might believe Ramar is gonna commit to Tennessee or possibly already has, he is taking the approach that nothing is for sure when it comes to Smith.

Others are starting to talk as well. Some other "informed" posters on are saying that Ramar Smith will indeed be a Tennessee Vol according to some credible people.

Take it FWIW..........

Is he actually announcing tomorrow or did he just say he would make a decision tomorrow?

The Sports Doctor can't say where he heard this until Monday, but Smith verballed to Bruce Pearl tonight at about 7:30.

Look for Pearl to build a DYNASTY here similar to what Pat Summitt has done. Tennessee will RULE college basketball in the future as long as Bruce Pearl stays. The Lady Vols still rule women's college basketball, even though they haven't won an National Title in several years. When people across the country think of women's basketball, they think of The Lady Vols. They always will. Pat Summitt was one of the founders of women's basketball.

I like the way things are shaping up for Bruce Pearl. Having talked to him several times in person, I have found him very personable, despite my inherit arrogance around all of those I encounter. He was cordial with me in all regards.

Go Lady Vols and Go Bruce Pearl and the Men Vols!

If he commits, great. But qualifying is the real question...If he doesn't qualify, kind of takes any shine off of a committment anywhere.
