Don't get your hopes up too much. We're probably going to be starting 3 true freshmen, and we're going to be small yet again. I would say another 20-win season is likely, but the real damage will come in 2-3 years. Bruce Pearl definitely has the basketball program headed towards elite status.

That's... normal... I guess... haha. I actually attended one of his basketball camps when he was coaching at University of Southern Indiana. I lived about 10 miles from the campus, and saw them play quite a few times. They were fun to watch. Bruce Pearl was, and still is, a god to the people of Evansville, IN. When I went to the camp, his son Steven was a little scrawny kid who would shoot around between games. I can't believe he is 6'5" now. Bruce isn't even 6'...

I'm excited, too - especially if he is the real deal. As highly thought of as he is, Coach Pearl could really turn him into something special. I mean, I always thought C.J. Watson was a good and underrated player - and Buzz didn't seem to be the best at player development. (Forgive me for the huge understatement.)

We'll probably be fine at the guard position, anyway. We just need to get some inside production, so Lofton, Ramar, etc. can get some good looks at the basket without all the defenses gearing up so much for them.

We will be young this year, but after playing a schedule like we have, these guys are going to have to grow up quick, and I have faith in Coach Pearl to get the most out of them. Even if we don't duplicate last year's success this year, the future looks bright. GO VOLS!!
