Mods, feel free to delete as soon as I get my answer. I wasn't sure where to post this or if it even needed a thread.

This is my friend and I's first time in Knoxville. We are taking a taxi there so we won't be parking and tailgaiting there until the game unfortunately.

What I was wondering is if there are designated areas where you can legally have an adult beverage outside. I've been to some stadiums where if you don't have a car and an obvious tailgaiting party you will get busted. We have a back pack and beer. Juvenile, I know, but it's the best we could do at short notice.

I bounce around from tailgate to tailgate, and I always take a cooler with me. Just don't be walking down main streets with an open container. If you are around people tailgating you'll be good.
