It's not that. It was just I had someone here that wanted me around and who I wanted to be around. There is nothing really holding me back now. Comprende?

He probably won't.

I've seen you ask questions about the military on here very often. You've seemed very curious about military life.

Joining the military may be just what you need. You can serve and then finish school when you're more sure of your course in life. I've had many friends who did just that.

Either option is a winner.

I need a 3.5 or above. If I retake Bio I and II and maybe another one I'll have it, but each semester there's one class that I just don't do that great in. 8:15's are my worst.

Oh yes, they have high aspirations for me. I used to really do well in school and that set the expectations really high. They'd probably only be happy with something like officer's school and that's not really what I want. When my parents figured out I had given up on being a doctor they almost stopped helping pay for school.

This all sounds way too familiar. Just because you scored over a 1300 on the SAT doesn't mean you have to be a doctor right now. And you may want to be one again after figuring out who you really are. You're a man. Do what you feel is right.

I think it is too late for the doctor thing. I gave up because the classes just suck until you get to med school. That's where I'd flourish. Bio's and Chem's are just nothing like what they were in high school. It was a wake up call beyond my wildest dreams.

Trust me, do what you want to do, or you'll always regret it. I made a few decisions with my folks in mind in my early 20's that I regret to this day.

If you're not happy doing what you're doing, what the **** does it matter if someone else is happy with your path.

I really do want to be in the Secret Service or a clinical psychologist, though. It is the long path to get there that I'm not enjoying. Maybe that's just life though. I may just need to Suck it up and earn it.
