-Mcbee had a horrid offensive game, but at least he played D
-McRae? idk. Can't believe you guys expect big things.
-refs don't know whats going on anymore. for any team
-why was the team so tired? they were dragging the whole night. Did they take too much time off, or did they overwork? Maymon looked fresher than anyone and he's been hurt and out of practice
-Dykes said it was meniscus. That's not a bruise.
-Trae? looked like he could care less tonight
-can't believe a team like MTSU has several guys that handle the ball, but we can't get it across half court.
-they cared. we didn't care as much
-3 bad games in a row, imo, with poor leadership from Trae and questionable gameplan.

My biggest issue is this walking it up the floor crap. I can't believe we keep making the same mistake. The guys get in the flow and we stay aggressive when we play with pace. When we slow it down and let the D get set, it's like all the guys have no interest in attacking the rim. MTSU attacked the rim the last 5-7 minutes, regardless of the shot clock. We almost got back court violations without any pressure on us. I hope we correct it next year. We did it against Ole Miss, and we did it again tonight.

And parity is even more apparent. #15's beating #2's. Upsets all over the place this year. Its apparent mtsu has as good, if not better, basketball players than UT.

They spaced the floor well to and posted up aggressively.

McRae's two bad, quick shots when we had the lead really hurt us IMO. We had momentum and were scoring with them and then he starts jacking shots. He's either hot or cold. Very little in between.

I had a feeling we'd lose tonight. From what I'd heard, the players weren't too excited to be playing in the NIT. Not an excuse, just what I had heard.

Agreed on the ball handling. I think it's pretty damn amazing that this team won 19 games with only one true ball handling guard. Maymon handles the ball well for a big guy, but Richardson, McRae, McBee and Tatum are all turnovers waiting to happen when someone decided to pressure us. That has got to be fixed next year.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I wish it was a better day for UT basketball. how do we find out who is leading the bracket for the NCAAA? Anyone keeping up on it or do we have to wait till the end?
