I was watching the Notre Dame game today. After UCONN won I listened to Coach Edsall's post game interview. His comments were really classy....and it was quite sad as well. Congratulations to those kids to go through what they have endured....and then to beat Notre Dame in South Bend.

I was watching the Notre Dame game today. After UCONN won I listened to Coach Edsall's post game interview. His comments were really classy....and it was quite sad as well. Congratulations to those kids to go through what they have endured....and then to beat Notre Dame in South Bend.

Amen. Even though I'm Catholic, I was praying for and thrilled for UConn to get that win, especially after the tough holding calls and that missed FG. UConn has had close heartbreaking losses since that player of theirs was killed. Kudos to the UConn coaches and players for fighting through so much adversity with class and finding a way to win against the odds. Edsall's tearful remarks after the game were very touching. He knew how badly his players needed that win.
