Come on, Sanders is the downfall of UT! CPF must "FIRE" Sanders! This man cannot call a game. He has no imagination at all. I could coach a defense against him and I never played past high school ball. I think it was a great ideal that we stuck with Ainge but you must but the right calls in for the man to succed.

Sanders did suck tonight but most of that was a lack of execution and focus...Ainge played like crap tonight....Clausen didn't get fair shot tonight.

I don't know what game you were watching. I think Ainge played fine, but I think our offense played awful. It's hard to play in situations like this when you've got d-linemen and linebackers running at you.

Pitiful game from Sanders and Phil. Where was Clausen? I now wish Ainge had started since that might have meant Mr. Throw-Over-Their-Heads only got 2 series to try and put up some numbers.

I know . . . I know.

The offense sputtered tonight for sure, but it couldn't hold a candle to our special teams play. You can't give up that kind of field position against a top 10 team and expect to win.

you know what, I thought sanders did fine except for not running riggs enough. we went down field enough just couldnt complete it. You cant keep throwing the deep ball like yall want. Ainge played well, just two or three drooped balls killed us.

I just have one question for our special teams: What was you think Colquitt? I mean that cost us some serious field position and then we ended up giving them a field goal, letting them block one, and then we muffed a punt...Our special teams were terrible tonight.

Colquitt was definitely off after the botched fake . . . which by the way was a great call by the Gators. They flat out baited him into that.

We lost that game because of the qb and receiver play.

Florida played a tight man to man defense with 8 men in the box, when that happens the qb has to make them pay and he didn't.

You might could argue that are qb and receivers are in synch which is a reflection on the coaching but thats why we didnt score. that and special teams beat us.

you guys only get upset these fire sanders posts come up because their true...I said before the season started randy is the weak link of this team and he may show he is again next weekend @ LSU.....we'll go nowhere with him calling the plays......we also need a special teams coach....basically we're a one dimensional club now......all this talent this year going to waste

109th in scoring.
Averaging 4 yards a play
300 yards a game.
On paper we have one of the best offenses. One magazine I read had UT with the third best offense in the country.

It's only been 2 games? Try 5 out of six years with poor offensive output for Sanders. Only one time has his offense scored over 400 total points in a year. With all of the talent he has at his disposal 400 points should be automatic. He sucks :focus: :focus:

I'm not trying to stir the pot here, but could someone list Sanders qualifications in this thread please?

The reason I ask this is because he just inherited this job from Fulmer because Cut left and we were in a pinch. Please don't tell me that Sanders helped us win a NC, we all know that was Cut's gameplan.

Does anyone else think that it was a HUGE mistake not to take applications for an OC when the position opened up? We all know that we could have gotten someone dynamic as an OC. Why didn't we?

I also realize that special teams got us in trouble last night, but if we were better on offense, maybe some of those plays wouldn't have happened in the first place. But that's football, it's a fickle game sometimes..

So the RS qualifications....what are they?

Here is my point. If you look at college football from a business aspect, what are his qualifications? College football is a huge business. You recruit coaches like you would recruit players.

Does anyone think that Randy Sanders is a top 10 recruit?

What other big business do you know of would have a top position available and not search the nation for the top prospect?

This is what happened with Sanders. It came from within. Who was responsible for that choice? The AD, Fulmer or someone else??

Our OC postion was never open and never took any applications as far as I know. I would like to know why. Is it politics? Something else? Who can enlighten me?

People can blaim Sanders all they want but he was not the one who fumbled a punt, got a FG blocked, and made a mistake trying a fake punt.

Those 3 mistakes cost us HUGE
