Some early early speculation on Twitter than Richt might reach out to Sanders

Georgia losing Mike Bobo. Bet UGA goes after FSU QB coach Randy Sanders to replace him. Because UGA loves FSU coaches

Wouldn't call him great but he was pretty good. Had some fun players like Cobb, Woodson, Stevie, etc to use.

I think the players loved him, he just didn't have the best luck in the win column. Those were some of the best players at Kentucky. Cobb was great.

I think all of Kentucky really liked Joker. I remember him visiting my high school on a recruiting visit and he was a legitimately nice guy, and everyone loved him. We were spoiled with overachieving for a few years, and eventually we ran out of luck. Lost some of the offensive stars we had. Since Hartline we never really had a quarterback either. Went through Newton, Smith, Whitlow, etc. Terrible group of Qbs for sec play.

Joker is the target of a lot of UK fans dislike. Recruiting classes fell through, talent really fizzled out other than the occasional one or two stars every year. But he was a good guy and probably doesn't deserve the hate he gets now.

I remember my friends being really excited about Newton. He was supposed to be great, but never did live up to the hype I heard anyway.

That's the dc. Did you like the wrong person?

I think he linked Pruitt to show you that he made the same move- FSU DC to UGA DC. It appears that it is not a downward or even lateral move. Pruitt got a raise for moving.

Maybe so but he also got introduced to state taxes and lost out on an opportunity for a NC.

I am not necessarily saying one way or the other, but the poster was pointing out that a move to UGA appears not be a downward move. You asked why he linked that.

That said, Pruitt already has 3 titles. I think his raise was significant enough to overcome any taxes. If you pay a lot in taxes, it also means you make a lot. Reports were that Pruitt went from 550k at FSU to 850k. That's an upward move.

Think RS is a pretty good recruiter ,QB coach, and person, but as a playcaller he was real bad.
When he was at UT many said Fulmer was too controlling, but his offenses at UK looked as inadequate as they did at UT

Didn't they go to 3 straight bowl games for the first time in program history with him calling plays?

I just hope Richt doesnt steal Kiffin from Saban and Georgia put some head coach in waiting on him. That would be a recruiting domination in the state of Georgia if that happened imo.

That's the DC.

Edit: nevermind.

There was also rumors Pruitt had some inappropriate relationships in Tally too. I have no idea of the validity of that so I'm not saying thats why he left or not. I personally think he wanted to be back in the SEC, he got a nice raise and the cost of living is probably cheaper in Athens as well (not accounting for income taxes, just physical cost of living).
