Using a 1-5 star system, rank each of our commitments. I'm tired of seeing 'this person should be a 4' or 'this guy could be a 5', so let's lay it all on the line. Don't use Scouts or Rivals or ESPN, just your opinion. What kind of class do we really have right now??

Allan Carson DT 6-0/327

Justin Coleman DB 5-11/175

Mack Crowder OL 6-4/270

Vincent Dallas ATH 6-0/180

Brendan Downs TE 6-6/224

Christian Harris LB 6-2/230

A.J. Johnson LB 6-3/226

Kyler Kerbyson OL 6-5/290

Pat Martin DB 5-11/196

Alan Posey OL 6-6/305

Andrew Power TE 6-5/262

Brian Randolph DB 6-0/180

Trevarris Saulsberry DT 6-4/252

Tom Smith RB 5-10/205

Tino Thomas ATH 6-0/190

Jordan Williams DE 6-4/240

Justin Worley QB 6-4/196

Devrin Young RB 5-6/156

5*, everyone that plays at Tennessee is a 5* until they prove otherwise. why be objective when fandom is so irrational to begin with? go vols.

JMO, but the bold should be four star players. I left Pat Martin off because honestly, he hasn't played up to his ability this year. The rest would be three star players. If we land Couch, he is a huge talent, on the cusp of a fifth star IMO.

This isn't to say this is how I think Rivals will end up rating them...this is how I would rate them based off of offer lists, film I have seen of them and articles I have read

so yall think we have around eight or nine 4 stars right now? interesting...
Almost impossible to argue that Randolph doesn't deserve a fourth star. Dallas, Smith, and Kerbyson are others who I think have to get a bump in the rankings. The others aren't worth arguing over. I think Pat loses a star in the next rankings though.

The bold should all be 4 stars, Pat Martin may be over rated, but the rest are accurate where they are ranked now IMO.

I want to say that I think Devrin Young plays big like a 4 star. I have watched him play in person and he is awesome, but his size will kept him where he is at.

He'll be incredible on special teams with the right amount of coaching. Eric Russell will do a great job with him.

Johnson and Martin are 4 stars and Worley is vastly under rated. Other than that it is unnoteworthy. Those of you think a 5'6 150lb running back is worth more than 2 stars are dreaming. Sorry but this is a vandy class.

Stop, stop, stop.

This is not about stars. This is about filling needs. Devrin Young is FAST. If you remember, Trindon Holliday was small, but his speed helped him succeed at LSU. I'm not comparing Devrin to Holliday, but I'm just saying, there are other factors other than stars that will determine if a player can be successful at the next level.

Noted. But whoever he is, he needs to understand that the rebuilding of this program will not happen overnight. Someone has to tell him.

80% of this board has tried to talk to him & tell him but it never gets anywhere, we all gave up thas why he is on ignore for ALOT of us.
