If the Vols had barely beaten Texas then I would just look for votes. With this win I think they will be between 15 - 20.

Doesnt matter.

After we thump OSU and Memphis, they wont be able to deny UT any longer.

Unfortunately I don't think so. I think if we are undefeated and have beaten a top 10 team we should be ranked. Not gonna happen though. If We beat OSU and Memphis we should end up breaking into the rankings.

It would be nice if we could get a rank out of this, but it won't be disappointing if we don't. We weren't even thinking about having this discussion yesterday. A win over Texas is enough for me right now.

Well said! I doubt we'll be ranked because Indiana State is 6-0 and beat IU when they was 14th and didn't make the jump so I doubt we will. The one thng we have on our side oh is that we did it on thier home court!

Well, we have a better chance than ISU. Texas was ranked 6 and 7 and like you said, in their house. I'm just happy and proud of the guys today. They all put it on the line today.

The sad thing is, no matter what happens in the polls tomorrow, Texas will be ranked higher then us, even though we have a better record and just blew them out at home. Polls suck. Thank God we actually get a tournament in BB instead of the crap in football.

Maybe 23 or 24, but I'm not necessarily counting on it. Who cares though really... We can get into the big dance not being ranked, and I'd rather continue to be the underdog!

That's what I'm talkin' about right there... I just hope the boys don't have that kind of attitude now that they've spanked awha many thought was a Final Four team.

UT (THE UT, that was proven today...) should beat OSU since I believe Jmx said they lost to Northwestern Siberian State or something... but I dunno about Memphis. They're good, they at least gave Duke a game.

'Course I just thought/wanted UT to play the 'Horns within 20 or so points.

Back to the original question, if the Vols weren't even getting votes before this week, I doubt they'll go right to the top 25. That hasn't ever happened, I'd wager...
